Texas Junior Golf was started in 2007 by U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Instructor Kevin Johnson. Texas Junior Golf is dedicated to growing the game of golf through top level instruction and competition. It is Kevin's goal to make Texas Junior Golf the most well-rounded and expansive junior golf program in Texas and the U.S.

The Texas Junior Golf Academy makes up the instruction side of Texas Junior Golf. The Academy offers a wide variety of programs that appeal to all ages and abilities. Everthing from the beginner clinics to individual lessons to the Collegiate Prep Program is designed to help junior golfers enjoy the game and play better golf.

Team Texas Junior Golf headlines the tournament side of Texas Junior Golf. The team competes annually in the Pacific Southwest Cup and consists of 8 boys and 4 girls between the ages of 9 and 17. Along with Team Texas Junior Golf and the Pacific Southwest Cup, Texas Junior Golf also hosts a qualifier for the CKG Tour Word Championships and other tournaments.
