Congratulations to
CHASE FRITZ
for being runner-up in the Boys 9-year old Player of the Year race for the U.S. Kids Dallas Tour. Chase won 3 of the 8 tournaments and finished 3rd at the Tour Championship.
Congratulations to
RYAN GRIDER
and
KENZIE WRIGHT
as both finished 3rd at the North Texas PGA Tour Championship. Ryan finished 3rd in the coed 7-9 year old division by shooting 42-43. Kenzie played up in the Girls 10-11 year and finished with scores of 49-41 to finish 1 shot out of a playoff for 1st place. The first round was played at the Stonebridge Ranch-Dye Course and the second round was played at the Stonebridge Ranch- Hills course.

TEAM TEXAS
for finishing 2nd at the Inaugural Pacific Southwest Cup in Corona, CA. The Ryder Cup style event consisted of 4 teams from California and one from Nevada. Members of Team Texas were: Ryan Grider (8), Chase Fritz (9), Harrison Mahon (9), Will Zalatoris (11), Cody Hardison (13), Chevy Stauffacher (14), Curtis Stanley (15), Casey Nelson (17), Kenzie Wright (10), Maddie Szeryk (11), Courtney Brewer (17) and Megan Rosenfeld (17). TJGA Instructor/Founder Kevin Johnson was team captain.

CASEY NELSON
on his 2nd place finish at the Texas Junior Golf Tour Texas High School Preview. Casey fired 72-71 at Ennis Country Club to record his best finish on the premiere junior tour for high school aged kids in Texas.

on his 4th place finish at the first Junior Mini Tour event at Star Ranch in Hutto, TX. Ryan carded two even par rounds of 72. His first round included a
Hole-In-One
on the par 3 7th hole.
TJGA College Prep students
Courtney Brewer
and
Curtis Stanley
both earned All-District honors after finishing 5th and 2nd, respectively, at their District Tournaments. Courtney will be senior at Frisco High School while Curtis will be a sophomore at Farmersville High School.
TJGA College Prep student
Chevy Stauffacher
has qualified for the Pinnacle Exceptional Driver Competition next May in in Nevada. This will be nothing to new to Chevy, as he won the 2006 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship for the Boys 10-12 year old division.
TJGA Short Game School students
Kenzie Wright, Chase Fritz,
and
Ryan Grider
pulled off the "hat trick" at the U.S. Kids Tournament at Stevens Park in Dallas! Kenzie won the Girls 9 year old division with a 38 while Chase won the Boys 9 year old division with a 40. Ryan was the champion of the Boys 8 year old division with a 39.
TJGA College Prep student
Casey Nelson
finished 10th out of 88 in the Boys 17 year old division at the Starburst Junior Golf Classic in Waco, Texas. He shot rounds of 81-78-77 to record his second consecutive top 10 finish in the event.
Ryan Grider
finished 2nd (38-38-38) in the Boys 7-8 year old division at the Starburst Junior Golf Classic. There were 27 kids in his age division.
Chase Fritz
finished 13th out of 52 in the Boys 9-10 year old division at the Starburst Junior Golf Classic. Chase had rounds of 40-43-44.
The TJGA Short Game School students had another strong showing at the Texas-Oklahoma Junior Golf Tournament.
Kenzie Wright
won the 8-9 Girls Division with rounds of 42-43.
Ryan Grider

Chase Fritz
finished 6th and 8th respectively in the Boys 8-9 Division.
Casey Nelson
shot 79-78 at the AJGA OSSO Junior at Oak Tree in Edmond, Oklahoma. That was good enough to finish 51st in a field of 108 players at the famous Oak Tree Country Club. This is considered to be one of the strongest fields of the summer for the AJGA.
Casey Nelson
finished in 3rd place at the Allen Samuels Junior Golf Tournament in Ennis, Texas. After struggling in the first round with an 83, Casey bounced back with rounds of 69-72 to finish strong.
Curtis Stanley
finished in a close 2nd at the Dallas Junior Golf Championship at Cedar Crest Country Club. He ended up 1 stroke back after posting a 2 day total of 154 (77-77).
Courtney Brewer
had a very solid top 10 finish at the Dallas Junior Golf Championship at Tenison Park. She carded rounds of 81-89-79.
Chase Fritz, Kenzie Wright,
and
Curtis Stanley
have all recorded victories in the North Texas PGA Junior Series this summer.
