Team Texas Junior Golf

Team Texas Junior Golf was put together to compete in the Inaugural Pacific Southwest Cup in Corona, California, just outside of Los Angeles. The California Kids Golf Tour started the "Ryder Cup style" event to gather some of the top junior golf talent from the Pacific Southwest. Team Texas Junior Golf was joined in California by teams from Los Angeles, Orange County, Northern California, San Diego, and Nevada. Northern California claimed the first Pacific Southwest Cup, with Team Texas Junior Golf coming in a close 2nd place.

The 8 boys and 4 girls that made up Team Texas Junior Golf represent some of the best junior golf talent in the Metroplex. But that is not the only reason why they were chosen. They were selected as a reward for their hard work, dedication, and great attitudes on and off the course.

Texas Junior Golf is excited to host the 2008 Pacific Southwest Cup at the Tribute Golf Club in The Colony, Texas. Texas Junior Golf will have 2 teams competing in the event this year. This year's team will be made of not only the top junior golf talent in the Metroplex, but in all of Texas. The tournament will be held over Labor Day weekend.
